Retrofitting 

Retrofitting/Revamping also referred to as modernisation is an update of an existing piece of equipment to improve efficiency, and to make it adequate for a new design or operating condition through the modification or replacement of some of its parts. 

Zener Maritime Solutions has been executing quite a few retrofit projects for Clients all over the world. On the Marine side, some of the projects which have been executed by our team are Ballast water treatment system (BWTS), Scrubber Installation, Bille Gear Installation. For these projects, our In house team was involved in conducting surveys of the location, preparation of rigging plan, Installation of equipment followed by Commissioning (with assistance of OEM on required basis). The projects have been executed onshore and offshore insitu. 

On the offshore side, our team has been involved in the replacement of Piping systems, Generators, compressors. The scope of work consisted of survey of location, preparation of MTO, rigging plan, installation of equipment followed by Commissioning (with assistance of OEM on required basis). 

Apart from the Productive team, we also have a Project Management team (PMT) onboard. After the completion of survey, our team will come up with the Project Schedule. The schedule is prepared after taking into consideration the site conditions, POB Allowance and Simultaneous Operations in the facility. PMT comprises of Project Manager, Project Engineer and Site Supervisor. They are jointly responsible for ensuring the project progress is as per the schedule. PMT will be monitoring the project closely to ensure any changes/delays are catered for and corrective actions taken. Project Progress report, daily reports is shared with the client on regular basis to ensure client is kept abreast of the same.
